If you would like to check the Public Record of a licensed agency then use the link below.  Licensed agencies under the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) are reviewed periodically for standards compliance, are required to self-report certain circumstances and incidents, and are investigated when a report is made on them. 

These agencies may include Child Placing Agencies (Foster and/or Adoption providers), Foster Group Homes, Residential Treatment Centers, Maternal Homes, Day Care Facilities, Individual Registered Home Day Cares, General Residential Operations, Treatment Camps, and even some Psychiatric Hospitals.  It is a very useful tool provided by DFPS.  You can look up providers by type, operation name,  address, city, county, and gender or age served.
